Do you ever take things away from your child as a punishment?

Problems with taking things away

  1. How long is too long? One hour? One day? One week?

  2. Giving in before the time is up because your child is driving you crazy.

  3. Forgetting when to give the privilege back.

  4. Your child doesn’t really care and goes and does something else.
